Yosemite National Park Camping with Outdoor Recreation!

Itinerary (subject to change):

Friday, Oct 6:
1100 - Meet at POM ODR, bldg. 228
1130 - Depart POM ODR, bldg. 228
1300 - Meal stop, Los Banos CA
1630-1700 - Arrive to base camp, Indian Flat Campgrounds, Mariposa Co.

Saturday, October 7:
0630 - Breakfast is served in camp!
0800 - Enter Yosemite National Park, visit the valley floor and Visitor Center
1100 - Guided hike of North Dome (lunch provided)
1800-1830 - Return to base camp, Indian Flat Campgrounds, Mariposa Co.
1900 - Dinner is served in camp!

Sunday, October 9:
0700 - Break down base camp
1000-1100 - Meal stop TBD
1400-1500 - Estimated arrival to POM ODR, bldg. 228

Trip Details:

Presidio Outdoor Recreation will provide transportation, camp lodging, equipment, meals, and guide services on this all-inclusive Yosemite getaway. Participants will have time to self-explore Yosemite Valley and Valley Visitor Center before our guided group hike of North Dome Peak. All guests of Outdoor Recreation will actively participate in setting up base camp, preparing meal-plans, and exploring the North Dome trail. (Moderate – Strenuous 7+-mile round-trip hike)
 

 
 What to Bring/ Wear:
* Comfortable hiking footwear (ie. Boots/ cross-trainers/ tennis shoes)
* Comfortable footwear for camp (ie. Sandals)
* Swim Trunk/ Towel (we will be camping next to the Merced River)
* Headlamp/ Flashlight (for sale at Outdoor Recreation

* Pillow (sleeping bag/ pad/ tent provided by Outdoor Recreation)
* Rain jacket
* Sunscreen/ Hat
* Water Bottle/ Camelback (3 liters minimum)
* Personal beverages/ snacks (ice chest and all other meals provided by Outdoor Recreation)
* Change of clothes for 2 days of hiking/ travel
* Camera/ book/ notebook/ cash for meal stops and souvenirs
