At what age do we begin to teach children about “strangers”; is this really where the most danger lies for them? Based on the book by Gavin de Baker, Protecting the Gift (keeping children and teenagers safe – and parents sane), we will explore how we can teach children safety awareness and skills; how we can recognize signs of sexual abuse and how to screen baby-sitters.
