0800 - Depart POM Outdoor Recreation building 228
0830 - Depart OMC Stilwell Community Center
1130 - Estimated arrival in San Francisco
(Photo ops in various locations such as: Twin Peaks, Civic Center Plaza, Wharf area, Golden Gate Bridge and Fort Mason)
1630 - Depart San Francisco
1930 - Estimated arrival at OMC Stilwell Center
2000 - Estimated arrival at POM Outdoor Recreation building 228
Trip Details:
This trip takes you to San Francisco for a day of photo opportunities where you will enjoy various sites such as Twin Peaks for a 360 degree view of the Bay area, the Civic Center Plaza which contains many of the city’s largest Government & cultural institutions, and stop for a no host lunch break on your own, in the Fisherman’s wharf, Pier 39 area. After lunch we proceed to the Golden Gate Bridge and end with a visit to Fort Mason, a former United States Army post located at the edge of the San Francisco Bay.
This is your opportunity to see some of the major sites of the City and have a day to remember. You will want to come back and visit San Francisco again on one of LTS’s upcoming San Francisco Get Acquainted Trips where you can spend more time at each venue.
