Kayak the Bay

See harbor seals, sea lions, and otters on this 1-1.5 hour guided kayak tour of the Cannery Row coastline

Instruction, equipment, and transportation are provided in this package deal. A huge value over local services.

Please specify at time of enrollment if you prefer a single or double kayak (when signing up with a friend) and if you are meeting at ODR bldg. 228 (1045) or directly at Breakwater Marina (1100)

Itinerary:

1045 - Arrve to ODR bldg. 228 and transport to Coast Guard Pier, Breakwater Marina

1115 - Unload and launch kayaks. (2 mile round trip tour of the Monterey Bay)

1200-1230 - Load kayaks and return to base

1300-1330 - Return to POM NLT

What to wear/ bring:

Rainjacket

Strapped sandals or water shoes (available for purchase at ODR)

Non-cotton top layer (Wool/ Poly layer for warmth)

Sunglasses

Sunscreen

Hat

DO NOT BRING:

any electronic devices, family heirlooms, or copies of the original US Constitution unless you have appropriate dry storage bags to keep said items dry and safe.
